Scrappage Promotions Terms and Conditions
Ford terms and conditions - Commercial Vehicles

1. All Ford UK current promotions apply to vehicles supplied directly by an Authorised Ford UK Dealer.
2. Ford Motor Company Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw these promotions at any time, without prior notice.
3. For terms and conditions of specific current promotions, please contact your participating Ford Dealer.
4. Scrappage Retail customers only and applies only to passenger cars i.e. not applicable to Commercial Vehicles.
5. Subject to availability at participating Ford Dealers for new vehicles, contracted between 18 May 2009 and 31st March 2010 and registered between 18 May 2009 and 31st March 2010.
6. Prices based on the manufacturer's on-the-road price.
7. Contact your participating Ford Authorised Dealer for terms and conditions, and for a current personalised quotation.
8. Customer Savings: Customer saving is deducted from the manufacturer’s on-the-road price for the relevant vehicle.
9. Advertised promotions cannot be used in conjunction with any other manufacturer promotion or incentive.

^Scrappage Scheme Allowance
From 18 May 2009, vehicles first registered on or prior to 31 August 1999 will be eligible for a £2,000 Ford/Government Scrappage Allowance (including VAT) when the owner purchases a new Ford vehicle at a participating Ford Authorised Dealer. Orders placed on or after 23 April and before the 18 May launch date are eligible for the incentive, provided the old vehicle has not already been scrapped, the new vehicle has not been delivered and all other eligibility criteria have been or will be met. To claim, the owner must have owned the vehicle continuously for at least one year prior to the order date of the new vehicle. The scrapped vehicle should have a UK address on the registration certificate (V5C) and has either a current tax disc and current MOT certificate, or has a current tax disc and a current Hackney Carriage Licence, or has an MOT certificate which expired no earlier than 14 days before the date of the contract between the Purchaser and the Dealer for the acquisition of title to the vehicle by the Purchaser. Neither the scrapped or purchased vehicle should exceed 3.5 tonnes. The purchased vehicle must be first registered in the UK on or after 18 May 2009 and be declared new at first registration in the UK i.e. with no former keepers. The registered keeper of the new vehicle must be identical to the registered keeper of the vehicle to be scrapped. The Scrappage Allowance will be payable in relation to the first 300,000 new vehicles purchased nationwide or until 31st March 2010, whichever is sooner.
